Halloween 2009

Rob had Ellie over Halloween weekend and I came over to get her ready and go out trick or treating with them. I think this year she was a little shy and wasn't quite old enough to understand the process. But, isn't she the cutest kitty cat??

Fredricksburg Oct 09

Elisabeth and I had a wonderful family gathering in Fredricksburg, TX for the wine festival. We enjoyed visiting with Michele, Michael, Brett, Aunt Suzy, Uncle Larry, Uncle Larry's mom, Aunt Marci, Uncle Ron, Aunt Laurie, Lauren and Mom. We enjoyed good food and wine at the festival and some dancing and walked around the town. My mom's cousin has an art gallery in town, which we visited and had some pie at the cute little place with the porch. What a fun weekend!

Snow Day '09

This was a really fun Friday in December of '09 where it snowed in Houston and actually stuck to the ground!

These pictures were taken from my office window- it was coming down in sheets!

She is starting out on her own taking professional portraits and photographs. If you would like her info you can contact me and i will send you her details.

Ellie updates and pictures

The summer flew by and I haven't taken as many pictures as I should have! Here is a quick update of what Ellie has been up to since she has turned 1!! Ellie is 34 inches tall- growing like a weed- she is pretty heavy too. We go back to the doctor in December so I'm not sure of the exact measurements or percentile right now, but compared to her little friends she is pretty tall and wearing 24 months in most stuff; 18 months in the rest. Ellie loves to play with her dolls, crawl through her tunnel, play in her big play house, read books out loud, sing, dance, talk, talk on the phone, wear bracelets and shoes, and go on walks. She is pretty timid and not at all daring- we think this is wonderful. She is definitely a little girl and can be so delicate about some things...she is such a little darling doll. However, I have experienced a few temper tantrums lately! All in all, I feel very lucky to have such a neat, funny and intelligent little person in my life.

Rob and Emily took Elisabeth to her 1st Texans game!! She looks so cute in her little jersey! Rob said she made it until around the end of the 3rd quarter! I was impressed. I think Rob and Emily are really brave and sweet to take her to a game especially when it was pouring rain that day.

So adorable!

Elisabeth has been trying new foods and so far has been doing really well at eating a variety of foods. Occasionally she will show preference for a food but most of the time she is super easy going about it.

Ellie loves to sing and dance in the car! She still uses her pacifier especially if she is getting sleepy like she was here. She is still smiling though, can you tell?

We had a great visit with my sorority sister Meghan- she came to visit from Las Vegas. I think she was pretty smitten with Ellie and vice verse!

Ellie and her friends from the left, Truett Borel (10 months) and Colton & Jackson Smyre (almost 18 months). We all had so much fun at Cathy and Ted's visiting- the kids got along great- Truett should be running around with them in no time!!

Stay tuned for more pictures and updates!!
